iST announced its net revenues on a consolidated basis, revenues for March 2017 were approximately NT$243 million, not only increased 10.20% YOY but greatly increased 47.79% MOM, which has hit the new monthly record.
iST said, after the Chinese New Year holiday, the blooming projects of semiconductor customers urged the recovery of the testing demands, driven iST’s revenues to a new level at one stroke.
The material analysis(MA) is one of the keys to iST’s new revenues record. Since iST’s MA has been given strong recognition and affirmation by the advanced process market, and has received big orders by the prominent customers, iST said,
Another key to iST’s new achievement in March revenues is the bursting testing demand motivated by the Chinese government. Since China has been turning up its efforts to support semiconductor industry by increasing its R&D proportion and vigorously constructed the 12-inches fabs in China. As early as 2016, iST completely extended its capacity and operation scale in China, and now the results has been seen and has pumped into the March revenues.
Besides, the testing demand for the next generation smart phone and IoT’s products also made contribution to the March revenues.
Recently, iST’s signal lab has successfully assisted customers in becoming one of the suppliers of a German car assembly plant by providing “The customized IoT testing service” to simulate an applied environment and meet the non-stop Wi-Fi access requirement. iST further explained.
On the other hand, iST has also took the lead in being authorized testing lab for HDMI® Alt Mode for USB Type-C™ in March 2017, meaning iST is not only assisting manufacturers in product testing but offering the certification locally and directly. Thus far has increasingly grabbed the attention of many customers.
