iST December 2016 Revenue Report

iST(TWSE:3289) today (Jan, 2017) announced its net revenues on a consolidated basis, revenues for December 2016 were approximately NT$204million. Year over year, the consolidated revenue increased 11.81% and increased 5.72% from the previous month. Net revenues for the full 2016 fiscal year increased 15.94% YOY, which hit a historically high.

iST indicated, to cope with the orders received and the strong testing demands of automotive electronics inspection, advanced process and IoT verification in 5 to 10 years, iST has extended its capacity and operation scale by purchasing NT$ 356 million of a 20,148 m2 factory from Wistron NeWeb Corporation in November, and NT$ 412 million of a 20,098 m2 factory from SPIL in December.

Besides that, iST’s over-the-air (OTA) wireless signal testing lab has recently certified by CTIA (Cellular Telephone Industries Association) specific to the certification of MIMO(Multi-input Multi-output) and become the first Asian CTIA Authorized MIMO OTA lab (CATL, CTIA authorized Test Labs). iST is now qualified to offer customers a MIMO OTA testing report and certification.
