iST(TWSE:3289) today (Nov. 10, 2015) announced its net revenues on a consolidated basis, the revenues for October 2015 were approximately NT$162 million. Month over month, the consolidated revenue decreased 6.28%, and increased 10.80% year over year. For the ten months ended in October, 2015, the revenues of iST totaled NT$1.677 billion, which increased 9.92% YOY.
Due to the reduced number of working days coincided with the China national holiday and gradually into the off-season, the revenues this month fell from the prior month. However, the testing demand this year continuously extends, and IC design houses gradually transform products to automotive electronics fields. As a result, the revenues in iST HQ Taiwan maintains in a certain level, which explains why the revenues this month increased 10.80% YOY.
In addition, iST phases in compatibility testing field from functional testing such as failure analysis (FA), material analysis (MA), reliability assurance (RA). In the middle of 2014, iST established HDMI/ MHL cable signal testing laboratory, and passed the audit in the beginning of 2015 and became the Authorized Test Center (ATC) of Simplay Labs.
To cope with the Premium HDMI Cable Certification Program debuted by the HDMI® Licensing LLC in October, iST has passed the audit by Simplay Labs for this program and become the first qualified lab in Taiwan. iST is now ready to certify HDMI cables made by local manufacturers for quality and performance of high speed HDMI cables in providing 4K/UltraHD contents as well as to issue security labels.
