iST November 2014 Revenue Report

iST(TWSE:3289) today (Dec 10, 2014) announced its net revenues on a consolidated basis, the revenues for November 2014 were approximately NT$154 million. Year over year, the consolidated revenue increased 8.14%, and 5.75% increase from last month. The revenue for the first eleven months of 2014 is NT$1.68 billion, an increase of 13.25% from last year.

iST said, the revenue in November kept at the high level, since iST became an official Simplay Labs ATC (Authorized Test Center)partner for HDMI& HDCP test services in October and have received the orders from IC design houses in USA. During these months, there are many different kinds of products underway for the signal testing.

Besides IC design customers, iST has actively developed manufacturers of module development, cable, connector, A/V system including TV sets, STBs and displays to assist them to obtain the certification of HDMI and HDCP.

iST further pointed out that, though Q4 is the traditional off-season in the industry, the revenue from the LED verification and automotive electronics service still maintained in the high record; as well as the growing number of orders from the Material customers, which has helped to push capacity utilization up.

Look ahead to the 2015, since the high-speed signal transmission specifications, such as HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) and MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) gradually become the standard connectivity interfaces for global consumer electronics and mobile products. As well as the high demands on the LED verification and automotive electronics market. The revenue from those services above is expected in 2015.
