St. Jeseph Welfare Foudation, a charity for taking care and educating the retarded people. It’s established since 40 years ago by a Hungary Catholic father, Stephen Jaschko.
Every year. St. Jeseph Welfare Foudation needs NTD$ 2,500 million to offer retarded friends a place like home. Due to the adverse economic circumstances these years, it’s getting harder and harder to raise enough funds and make ends meet.
This charity located only 130 m away from iST, how can iSTers do for our good neighbor- St. Jeseph Welfare Foudation ?
May 25, it’s a beautiful Sunday, St. Jeseph Welfare Foudation held a Kermess on a lawn near Mackay Memorial Hospital. iSTers not only joined this activity but donating money to show cares to them. What makes us warm is there were more than one-quarter of iSTers be participating in this activity even we just got 5 days to do the collecting work!
Though there is still a long way to achieve annual financial goal: NTD$2,500 million ,we sincerely wish our small action can make one good turn deserves another.
