iST September 2024 Revenue Reaches NT$406 Million, Marking Two Consecutive Months of Record Highs

October 9, 2024 – iST (TWSE:3289), an IC analysis and verification lab of electronic industry, announced its consolidated revenue report for September 2024. iST achieved a revenue of approximately NT$406 million for September, representing a month-on-month increase of 1.40% and a year-on-year growth of 32.90%, setting a new historical record. For the period from January to September, total revenue reached NT$3.238 billion, reflecting an annual growth rate of 12.15%.

This marks the second consecutive month in which iST’s revenue has exceeded the NT$400 million mark, continuing to break new records. In particular, consolidated revenue for Q3 reached NT$1.116 billion, surpassing the NT$1.1 billion threshold, also setting a quarterly record high. The primary driver behind this remarkable achievement is the ongoing demand from the AI sector. iST’s long-term focus on advanced packaging verification and analysis for AI applications has yielded significant results, and its AI reliability testing solutions have garnered strong interest from major international clients. Additionally, iST’s subsidiary, Prosperity Power Technology Inc. (ProPowertek), specializing in energy-efficient component solutions, has seen a surge in orders for AI-related power component wafer thinning, resulting in two consecutive months of profitability in August and September, further driving the company’s operational growth.

Moreover, iST has strategically positioned itself to meet the demand for AI chip high-speed signal testing. Leveraging its Signal Integrity Business Unit (SIBU), iST offers comprehensive AI high-speed signal solutions, including front-end design simulation evaluations, PCB characteristic analysis, Port Physical Layer (PHY) validation, and custom fixture design. These solutions enable AI-focused clients, such as IC design firms and major manufacturers in AI servers, AI PCs, and edge computing, to swiftly address the challenges posed by evolving high-speed market standards and ensure their products meet stringent certification requirements.

iST emphasizes that alongside AI infrastructure like servers, accelerator cards, and switches, the AI edge computing market is also a key area of focus for tech giants. The AI High-Speed Signal Testing and Simulation Services offered by iST’s Signal Integrity Business Unit span beyond servers and switches, extending to PCs, gaming consoles, graphic cards, set-top boxes, monitors, and AI edge devices.

The AI High-Speed Signal Solution integrates front-end design simulations and evaluations, utilizing signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) simulations to help clients detect design issues early and reduce cost risks. iST also provides PCB materials analysis to ensure stable high-speed signal transmission.

In addition, iST’s AI High-Speed Signal Solution accommodates the most current technical specifications for physical layer (PHY) testing, including PCIe Gen 6 and Ethernet 400/800G standards. To further enhance flexibility, the solution also offers custom fixture design services, enabling clients to address the challenges of non-standard interfaces and achieve optimal performance in high-speed transmission environments.
